Leadership lied - Software Engineering Manager bei Hearsay Systems: Mitarbeiterbewertung

They spent 6 months telling their employees that finances were doing great and we wouldn't be doing layoffs. Then they laid off 40 people with no warning, a 10 minute zoom call, and a pretty mediocre severance package. They said they are going to offshore all the jobs. A company value is "we show up for each other," but that clearly turned out to be false. Sometimes layoffs just happen. I get it. But not after 6 months of reassuring everyone at every single biweekly all-hands meeting.
