Pretty decent pay - keeps the talented people there I suppose. Ability to slack off regularly because management has no idea what's going on. Free lousy coffee. Covered parking.

Business decisions are made to make $$ for the execs, period - NEVER do they do things to actually help the healthplan member. There's no communication from the top down. Trigger-happy employer who fires key team members without a contingency plan in place - leads to huge knowledge gaps. Regularly promotes unqualified people from within to fill positions. The "old boys club" is alive and well at HealthTrans. IT team is talented but poorly managed. Data systems are extremely insecure - clients should be wary and/or nervous.
