Pros
Given HealthLinx' size, I always felt as though I could really see where my contributions made a difference (not something that came easy in my former employment with a very large financial institution). The President and COO always strive to ensure the associates are well equipped with the latest technology tools to work efficiently. And they have established a strong IT group that is easy to reach and happy to help. Leadership was always looking to make sure that we provided customers a unique and high value service. Associates can feel good knowing that they are a part of a team delivering services that improve the lives of others.
Kontras
Smaller companies struggle to provide good health insurance coverage at rates that employees can afford... not unique to HealthLinx. Communication is a struggle in most work environments. Are we over-communicating, and flooding associates with email? Are we communicating enough so that everyone is in the know of changes that affect their jobs?
