9-hour work day with the expectation to work the extra hours without compensation or even recognition; many times working through lunch just to meet account managers’ unrealistic deadlines; 1- 2 day turnaround is frequent juggling multiple projects Boys club; if you are a part of the hockey pool, your job is secure. There are a few people that should have been fired for derogatory comments, behaviour and harassment, but hey, they’re part of the pool. Lack of professionalism and respect. A company that is disorganized and really stuck in the past where business decisions rely too much on sweat equity rather than corporate strategy. Their motto: Work hard(ing), play hard. A company should really work SMART not hard. Leaking roof, flooding and filthy washrooms, disgusting carpets.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know how you felt about working at Harding Display. We are truly sorry that this was your experience. There has been a lot of change here in the past few years. Our Ownership team has transitioned, and they have a very different view on the type of workplace we want for our people. The culture we are striving for at Harding Display is professional, collaborative, balanced, and fun - we know we have a lot of work to do, and we are taking the necessary steps to make improvements. If you ask anyone here today, they will tell you that Harding Display is not the same place it was 2, 5, or 10 years ago. One of the measures we've recently taken was hiring an in-house HR leader to help guide our actions with fairness and to hold us accountable. We've also implemented processes to help us work more efficiently, and our management team are undergoing training to learn how to be effective leaders. With a small break from the pandemic, we have also been able to increase our team gatherings and events which is resulting in stronger relationships and team cohesiveness. Lastly, a modern renovation of the office is creating an engaging, relaxed, fun environment where our people are excited to come to work. Sharing the above can't and won't erase the experience you felt you had, but we hope it brings some light to know that we do care about our people and are doing everything possible to ensure a healthy work environment for all. Also, we encourage employees to speak with their managers or HR should they have any concerns with their employment so that appropriate action can be taken to address the concern. A great company culture with a strong team-oriented environment. Leadership and ownership are highly engaged and supportive, which creates a positive atmosphere day to day. Theres a clear effort from the company to make it an enjoyable place to work and that comes through in how teams collaborate and support each other.
