Kontras
Sadly, a great DC brand has been run into the ground by the events of the last year. The firm's rhetorical fixation on work-life balance becomes a con when it's exploited by bad apples who have found a comfortable niche and (sadly) their managers who run interference for them. Home-grown talent and superficial company cheer-leading is rewarded instead of hard work and competence. As other reviewers note, the culture of favoritism and protecting time-servers is demoralizing and has caused a lot of good people to leave. There's no serious business development strategy; bona fide opportunities are missed while pet projects get undue attention. Turnover rate was 25%+ in 2015 and good people have moved on.
