It was disheartening to see colleagues laid off only to have their roles slightly renamed and refilled to sidestep legal issues. False Hopes: Management consistently dangled the prospect of career advancement and pay rises, none of which materialised. Evil Upper Management: Upper management seemed more focused on their own profits rather than the well-being of the staff. Their selfish decisions led to a toxic work environment. Toxic Family-Run Business: The small, family-run nature of the business only amplified the toxicity. Favouritism and nepotism were rampant, making it difficult for anyone outside the family circle to advance or feel secure.
