Outside of tax season, your main responsibility for the year is recruiting. That’s it. It’s very difficult to recruit new tax preparers (they have to pay out of pocket to attend a certification training). Every tax preparer sets their own “availability” and can only be scheduled when they’re available. Even if they agreed to work nights and weekends, if their “availability” changes, they no longer have to work nights and weekends.
