First year associate pay is just an hourly rate. If you take more classes to get further education, then you earn commission which can be a decent amount of money for the spring.

- Did not receive enough education for the type of tax returns I had to do. No joke I often had to go on the IRS website to look up tax code while a client was in front of me. - Did not receive feedback on my performance or if I performed any of the returns wrong - Telling clients the price was by far the worst part. Commonly I would perform a return for someone in less than an hour, and the system would come up with an absurd price of $300. - Having to promote their other products along with the already high tax return price
