Especially on the communications team, it feels like the place for mid-level careers go to stagnate and die leaders will say they care about growth and development, but only give development tasks with no growth at the end of the road in the past five years only one person within the department has moved into a leader position with all others being filled by people outside the department or outside the company, despite numerous skilled experienced and knowledgeable team members already on the team and interested in growth.
