Pros
My two main takeaways from working at Gripped for almost 3 years now are: People: The Gripped team are friendly, fun and enthusiastic. Working with colleagues in the office, or going for the odd drink after work becomes a lot more fun with such people. Learning: The founders' knowledge & expertise from years in the industry trickle through the entire business, resulting in a team of extremely competent marketers. Managers (driven by the team's core - Scarlett) are helpful & constructive. With the internal training sessions, client comms, upskilling/cross-skilling at desks you'll find yourself learning rapidly & effectively. Would recommend working at Gripped to all aspiring marketers.
Kontras
The environment is fast-paced. To the right employee, this setting is a perfect one to rapidly develop marketing & client relationship skills in a short space of time. The wrong/unfit employee will find this too much. There is a great support network and training/onboarding period that make success in this environment achievable for anyone willing to make the effort.
Pros
Their services helped me build a strong online presence and connect with my target audience. They helped me create engaging content and grow my social media following, resulting in increased brand awareness and customer loyalty. I highly recommend their services to any business looking to improve their digital marketing efforts.
Kontras
I can't think of anything specific to dislike about the company.
Pros
- Team are talented, hardworking people who when they have the time are willing to help - You will gain lots of valuable experience and be exposed to different businesses and industries, getting an impressive set of skills in a short time - The team are young and keen to make friends and socialise - The company mission is exciting and the founders are passionate about delivering a good experience to clients
Kontras
- Outdated company culture glorifies long hours and working until burnout, managers frequently work weekends and team work evenings to get tasks completed - “Flexible” hybrid working policy isn’t practiced, working from home is discouraged - Pay isn’t competitive so they hire a young team - No real socialising unless you drink and are the same age as the team - No HR department or mental health first aider
