      Making money at all, at least it’s not like hair cuttery , where there is no guarantee you’ll make hourly..? That’s crazy to me

      My location was an unprofessional environment for clients, and there was always a schedule issue. I also hate that a company can tell me I have to cut hair free of charge on Veterans Day, after seeing history that people aren’t tipped that day- then but you pizza…. I just can’t support things like that anymore

      Pros

      Great co-workers, good tips, generally busy, clientele overall friendly, management is super cool and will try to be as flexible as possible with your schedule.

      Kontras

      Working evenings and weekends, but that is salon life.

      Flexible schedules, 401k, health, & dental benefits, bonuses (based on salon performance, base wage with poetional to hit commission on service & product sales, fun friendly & welcoming environment for employees/customers, continuing education for growth in the industry, professional career growth with Great Clips (depending upon your franchise)

      Kontras

      Haircutting exclusive so if you enjoy other services in the industry (chemicals, waxing, updo styling) this is not the place Franchised salons, so salons are ran differently.
