You're overworked with hardly any rewards to look forward to, and no growth unless you are related to owners/ close friends with them. No free coffee, beverages or snacks in the break room, only a couple of vending machines. Only three paid sick days the entire year. They didn't give any holiday bonus to all the hardworking people here, no holiday party, and no sign of raises (something they tell you happens often when you're getting hired, it doesn't). They only do the bare minimum, not sure why there is so much stinginess happening here. They are very strict on you about dress code and being on time. They value these things more than the actual work you put in. Communication is not a priority for them. Lots of sad faces in the office this holiday season, it was heartbreaking. Worst part is they don't seem to care at all. Never seen or heard of employee morale being this low in my working life.
