Pros
My analysis after 9 months: The people really are great. By design. We are working very hard to maintain our strong company culture while we are in this period of rapid growth because it is critical to the success of our people. We only invite the very best people (that complement our core values and competencies) to join the team because the culture is so important to us. Senior leadership is thoughtful, generous, and bright. But more importantly: focused, determined, and persistent…all required to win in business. And all bode well for an organization looking to win. The product is powerful. Looking at the competitive landscape comprehensively, we are very well-positioned to grow 10X in the next 3 - 5 years. Very exciting, very rewarding. Rocket ship. Opportunity abounds. Company financials are healthy and we are investing heavily in accelerating growth dramatically, so by definition, opportunity is endless. As we grow, more positions are created with more specialization. I expect we will be building out the neighboring office space very soon.
Kontras
I can’t think of any cons, so I’ll add a challenge: local top talent. We already have a distributed workforce and are actively growing our national footprint by adding a new Sales office in NYC, but it would be nice to have more [available] A-players in Connecticut.
