Pros
although i was only at generator power briefly i enjoyed my time there. my time at generator power was spent shadow-ing senior members of staff who taught me how to repair/service engines in generators. there were also other duties. i took away a lot from generator power, definitely a better understanding of what makes an engine work or not work and the importance of getting jobs done right. my manager was a nice bloke, very fair and supportive. ultimately i let myself down but he gave me every opportunity to grow. the rest of the team were great, our guy who ordered stuff was really helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble. i can't speak for any other person who ordered things there. workplace culture was good, supportive, and everyone seemed to be looking out for each other. the hardest part was obviously the learning of new and complicated methods of fixing and repairing engines etc. the most enjoyable was knowing i had learnt and applied my skills to fixing an engine.
