Pros
They do encourage continuing education and compensate for professional designations. They give great opportunities for new college graduates. It's one of the few insurance companies that will have recent college grads "driving their own desk" in underwriting.
Kontras
They overlook the talent that they have. There is very poor treatment to long term employees. They are currently very top heavy. Upper management has fear of decision making thus reinforcing a culture of analysis/paralysis. There is constant change to the organizational structure, so much so that it is not uncommon to not know who is in charge of what. It's a very political environment, depending on the employee's talents in their own "spin" anyone one could achieve greatness at this company.
