Interesting projects, some good co-workers

Engineering leadership expects many Engineers and engineering teams to work 12 hour days without any extra pay indefinity. The new VP of Engineering pushing this is winning points with executive leadership and Human Resources. Obviously they could care less about their employees and whether its a good place to work or not.

Where to start? Poor leadership on all levels. A bunch of talk about quality and the customer but are happy pushing out inferior product and dealing with it later, but then blame all the workers (via no quarterly bonus due to impossible metrics they have little/ no control over) instead of correcting the workers responsible. They are SO CHEAP. Cheap in pay, cheap in providing what employees need in a timely manner or if ever, cheap in benefits, cheap all the way around. They want drones, not humans. Very high turnover rate. A lot of promises and little follow up. If you sign up for the annual company picnic and cant make it, they take money directly out of your check for each person signed up to go. Poor training. Reactive, not proactive.
