Kontras
High management is totally disconnected from the majority of the company. They do not care about employees, rather try to find all possible ways how to save costs. CEO always talks how he prefferes in-person collaboration and how employees should return to office, but doesn't listen to what would really motivate people to come to office on regular basis (because it would cost money). Remote teams have budget to get together in person only once or twice a year (Czechia and Slovakia). If the team is spread farther away, they don't meet at all or they pay it from their own money. People regularly need to pay for their business travel from their own money. Budget for education is set up in a way so that nobody really uses it. Employees have to pay for the education themselves and then, if they receive a certificate, they got the taxed amount from the company (~70%). In this arrangement people do not grow, but there is no time for that anyway, because lot of people are leaving and it is really hard to find a replacement. But of course there is a budget for Black month, Pride month, Breathing workshops, Biodiversity education and similar stuff that employees so desperately need. CEO talks about culture, but there is no culture anymore after the merger. All culture vanished and high management is responsible for that by ignoring peoples opinions, and communication either not present or full of BS. CEO thinks that reviews on this site are only from former employees and the rating does not reflect the reality and asked us to write more reviews here, so that the rating will go up and people will want to work at Gen.
