Pros

Professional working environment that requires English due to its multi-country clientell. Good employee benefits. Individuals are kindhearted and good spirited. Yayasan department and other civil engineering departments shows great commitment to their goals. Work Life Balance is possible due to bad management team. Guaranteed financial stability in mostly all departments and very open to team expansion.

Under market-pay for juniors. Directionless, non business centric, tyrannical CDO. A Silo workplace despite internal marketing as a "family". Certain recent management level hires are suspicious in their technical skills, especially relevant in software and HR departments. A lot of internal red tape. Newest department burns money from other department's funds that were cut from with no returns.

- Team environment generally manageable and not overly busy. - Exposure to real project workflow as an intern. - Some flexibility was initially allowed with working hours when tasks were completed.

Kontras

Internship experience highlighted significant inconsistency in supervision and communication. Working hours and break times were initially communicated as flexible (including being told it was fine to leave at 5pm if tasks were done and to follow the team’s general timing). However, close to the end of the internship, expectations suddenly shifted to stricter hours (8:30am–5:30pm with shorter breaks), and I was singled out as the only intern “coming late and leaving early,” which did not reflect the earlier instructions given. The abrupt change in standards and lack of clear, consistent guidance created unnecessary tension and made the environment feel unfair. Future interns would benefit from supervisors aligning expectations from day one and applying them consistently across the team.
