There are some amazing people on the team who care a ton about helping educators. Health insurance is great quality.

Truly run the other way. This place is toxic. Exec leadership is a joke. You think you have autonomy — you don’t. Tiffany Taylor will micromanage you to hell and back, then fire you right before your bonus is paid out. Don’t be fooled by the charm. This place is known to work people into the ground, and then terminate them because it’s “not enough”. Only take a job here if you’re desperate, it’s not going to be the career booster you think it is. DQ has an extremely negative reputation at this point - google her and you’ll get it.

It was very exciting and I learned a lot, but was only there for a summer

I'm not sure I can fully put into words how off my experience was here. There was such a strong culture of fear and mayhem. The employees called it "Chaos Ventures" behind the Partner's backs because everything was so unclear and helter-skelter. We were paraded around for our MBA logo like show ponies in front of the LPs which was very strange because we didn't work their full-time. Ultimately, I knew within the first week or two that I didn't want to work here and there's been 100%+ turnover since I left. Everyone thought it was a joke and seemed to regret accepting an offer there.
