Pros

Smart Colleagues. Big name clients. Good pay. Fun culture activities (depending on your home base office). Promising career path (if you’re a chosen one).

Kontras

Sorority leadership culture. Very gossipy and ‘two-faced.’ At times you can witness or sense on calls when leaders are texting/IM’ing each other about other teammates. Senior “experts” spend a lot of time working the industry panels and bringing unrealistic ideas to brainstorms and meetings without doing real work. SEVERELY understaffed media and creative departments. Many account teams “recycled” at request of clients. Questionable financial practices. Also, management builds budgets to fit client limits but do not scale scope appropriately leading to unrealistic expectations and manpower that can’t meet demands or deadlines. Very rare to find anyone who can build a realistic budget. Glorified hustle culture. Favoritism. Undeserved promotions. Terrible technology and abysmal tech support. Overall many people seem unhappy and burned out.
