Flexibility. Think of G2 as a framework on which you can build your career in any number of directions. You may start on a particular task in a specific role, but the opportunity to grow that task or bring in completely new work that you could manage and share in the profits from, is encouraged and supported. While there are opportunities for engineers at every level of experience, the structure of the company really shines for senior level engineers who have previous experience managing their own work products, tasking, and customers. If you have solid engineering skills as well as the ability to foster customer relationships and think big, G2 is a perfect company to help you build something.
Kontras
There is not a lot of corporate structure for developing you as an engineer -- G2 does not offer training classes, etc. Neither are there company resources devoted to promoting social activities like recreational clubs or hobby groups. That said, continuing education is encouraged (expenses are reimbursed) and friendships are formed within the company.
