Informal setting. Everyone (including bosses) has technical skills and is able to (and actually does) help in every situation. Company's small, so you get to know and talk to everyone. No one feels like a lowbie or "just a number". Pays decently well. Relationship with clients is usually good.
Kontras
Career advance is horizontal, which means that you'll start as a technical developer (consultant) and stay there for the rest of your career. Your job and functions will only change mostly as the client needs change. No real career planning.
