Thank you for taking the time to write this candid feedback. Regarding the all-hands meetings, we will continue to solicit topics from employees and managers, improve our meetings’ content and logistics to make them more productive and valuable to employees. Our two annual all-hands meeting on Columbus Day and Martin Luther King Day are important to communicate and connect with everyone. In addition, it is an opportunity to gain valuable training and insights via professional speakers. Our employees meet and network with others, learn about company’s new initiatives, and attend mandatory training required by the law/regulation as a government contractor. Please know that I take a review such as this very seriously, and I appreciate your perspective regarding my management style. As a company and on a personal level, the last few years have been challenging. I certainly recognize that our employees can deliver successfully, but I also recognize that our customers have come to appreciate and often expect the involvement of and access to FUTREND ownership. We’ve worked hard to build the company, and an entrepreneurial structure, which includes involvement in all aspects of operations, has been critical to that success to date. While it is not the right environment for everyone, I believe it has helped get us to where we are today. However, I recognize that as we evolve to a professionally managed company, our management practices must evolve as well. As we make this transition, we are implementing standardized repeatable processes, and best practices in project/program management. We have hired good managers on the delivery teams and continue to hire senior managers to build a strong leadership team. We have identified the core competencies for our project/program managers, and are working to improve our training and mentoring programs. Please be assured that that I am dedicated to successfully finding the right balance between a hands-on approach and a less involved one.
