Pros
The time that i stayed there it had the makings of a great startup: company gym, fully stacked kitchen, catered lunches, great health coverage and I had a manager that mentored me but at the same time empowered me to make recommendations based on my experience.
Kontras
Then theres the flip side: kept in the dark as to what is happening, assured me that everything will be ok but in the end they made my position dissolve. Went home thinking that I was an incompetent fool when I was laid off. But the funny/crazy thing is that I got into thinking that I was not saved because I was not the culture fit that brownnosed and made friendly banter with people in the office. And that made me the easy person out. I made this intelligent assumption because I know for a fact that I had a good performance review.
