Pros

They didn't make it public, but a lot of people can work full remote, especially in the software group. Work load is very light. Higher level management will keep saying everyone is busy, but, at least in the software group, there are not many work needs to be done.

Kontras

Bureaucracy everywhere. It is a small company, but there are lots of managers with year of experience from big companies, especially Bosch. Their knowledge is quite limited, but they brought their culture of dictatorship here. They made all decisions and don't let their team understand. They only promote their old friends. If you don't know anyone from management team, don't dream for promotion. Software director often couldn't explain his decisions. When I asked him to explain, he would get mad and blame me why I asked such question. There are also cases he would ask people to just follow and don't ask questions. The software director promised many things, but never made them happen. He frequently takes credit for the team's achievements, and he attributes mistakes to team members when accountability is required. The best advice is that "don't trust the management team". Otherwise, you will be the one who suffer.

Pros

Stable company with broad global reach. Front office jobs not demanding, hybrid schedules and low expectations lead most to be 30-35 hr weeks.

Kontras

At first this looks like a positive: you’ll notice that many employees have tenures of 15,20, 30 years. But that leads to a lot of group think and insular behaviors. They actually have a common statement among employees - “you’re not a Freudenberger unless you’ve been here 10 years.” Not exactly a welcoming statement to new employees. If you’d like to have your input and thoughts ignored for a decade, this is the place for you. Convinced they have great technologies, but in market terms, average technology at best. Horrific infighting between divisions. Management meetings resemble Klukluxclan meetings in terms of diversity. Pay scales below market, 401k match very weak
