Where do I start? I guess simply don't believe anything you hear in the recruitment process. Allowing Practice Groups and partners autonomy? Yeah right. Every thing in this firm is micro managed by Ben Mathis. The incessant emails, writing of policy and lack of empowerment to anyone makes this simply a place that serves as a stepping stone or holding cell until other employment is found. He is driven solely on headcount and the press release of the office opening. Don't believe the number of offices you see. 1/3 of them are Regus spaces that simply have an attorney licensed in that office but not staffed. Speaking of staff, well narcissist love to surround themselves with people that make themselves look better and will never question them. The fact he has a "10 minutes with Ben" is all you need to know and it undermines the rest of management and partners in the firm.
