For Enterprise customers and highly regulated verticals such as healthcare, financial services, defense etc. Fortinet is rarely given a shot. -Palo Alto, Cisco and Zscaler all have had better innovation and acquisitions. -Fortinet will often be 1/2 the cost or less of key competition and not selected as performance/perception is Fortinet is an inferior solution. -No integration of existing solutions. Often feels like different solutions are patched together. -Product team has too much politics for effective collaboration.
