Never have I worked in an environment where I was made to feel so disposable, unsupported, bullied and backed into a corner.
They will tell you that "a start up isn't for everyone" but being a start up doesn't give the ok to treat people like they are worthless and disposable.
There is no HR department for support, instead they suggest you speak with management who consists of the CEOs sisters. If you are not comfortable speaking with one of the sisters then your other option is to take up the free online "counselling session" provided by the company which washes their hands of responsibility.
Performance reviews are conducted without a third party present which then turns into a he said she said situation. No previous meetings with any warning are issued and if you don't agree and achieve everything noted then you are let go after 4 weeks.
You are made to feel that you cannot express your views with other colleagues as this is not "flash pack" and is highly frowned upon. You must always be positive and if you do speak up it is usually shut down pretty quickly.
You are made to work extra hours without pay, join meetings on your days off and be available 24/7. There was no work life balance.
Benefits are promoted as perks but are only given to selected few and rejected for others.
Overall, Flash Pack is not the Disneyland they pretend to be.
