Pros

It's a job and that is about it.

Kontras

Ownership has no clue. Either that or they are way in over their head and can't pay the bills. They seem desperate. They don't offer any benefits and have nothing but a paycheck to offer you and it's still like you owe them something. All good managers are gone.

Pros

I liked that it was family and veteran owned, and a small enough company to make a difference, but big enough to be stable. There are four showrooms and an outdoor showroom in Arizona, and almost 200 employees. The company sends out recognition emails every time someone positively reviewed us online. There are career opportunities within the company, especially for office positions, to talk to the boss and ask for a spot in another department, or maybe to shift roles into something new.

Kontras

There are only two health insurance options, and both have a really high Out of Pocket maximum ($6,350). I know that's had to increase because of the Affordable Care Act, but it would be nice if they offered some different plans that maybe had higher monthly premiums and lower OOP costs for people who know their families will need to use insurance often. I had to buy health insurance from the Marketplace, which costs me hundreds of dollars after taxes, because I knew our family would hit the OOP every year. I would much rather have that come out of my check pre-tax.
