Having come from a big corporate entity, I was a little apprehensive coming to First Command given this is the 'smallest' company I have ever worked for. Smallest it may be but so far, I have found it to be one of the biggest in terms of culture and impact. Working for a company with an actual mission is one thing but a mission that has a profound effect on our country's hero's quality of life is something else. It makes that daily grind a little more bearable and invokes an attitude of what else can I do and how can I make it better. So far everything has been great, the organization is going through changes and improvements, and I am happy to be at the forefront of it.
