Pros

Pension, Benefits, work life balance, pay were great, the people I worked with were easy to get along with and the shift was perfect for my lifestyle.

Kontras

Upper management and the executive have made very poor decisions ultimately causing our facility closure. The suits tend to make all decisions without ever consulting the people at ground level.

Good and hard working employees for the most part, standard industry benefits and great business model for growth

Many changes within BP&S team in the past few months without leadership or strategic approach; Hiring and keeping expensive contractors instead of keeping knowledgable employees. The CIO acts as a bully and there is no oversight on his costly decisions and the chaos he has created. He was given the ultimate authority by the past leadership team and since they have left Finning, the new leadership team has not assessed CIO’s negative impact and outcomes so far. Moral is low and BP&S employees seem lost while the new CIO brings in more of his people on high paid roles and contracts.
