Management lies about promotions. They prefer their JD stores over Finish Line stores and consider their employees for promotions before FINL employees. They have something called the JD Academy and they say they'll send you and they keep telling you that "you'll go to the next one", what they don't tell you (until 24 hours before) is that you must interview for the academy they can't just send you. No matter how much you do right, do one thing wrong and you will be dragged through the mud. You will be belittled like you failed and don't know how to do your job. Upper management at the District and Regional level DO NOT CARE if you are understaffed and overworked. They will not send help from other stores. There is no balance or separation between your personal and professional lives.
