Pros
- Rapidly emerging industry - SDOH/ social care is growing constantly and more and more industries are leaning in. It's an exciting time to be at the forefront of this work. - Opportunity for growth and advancement - I've been promoted multiple times during my time at Findhelp. I sought out business challenges and through management support and hard work, was able to have an impact on them. Taking on that work also helped me learn a ton of valuable lessons that I'll take with me in my career moving forward. I've seen peers do the same and also have success here. -No surprises - This is an area I've seen growth in across leadership in the recent year +. There's not a lot of sugarcoating going on - the company is direct and unapologetic about its non negotiables (e.g. in office work in Hubs) and performance expectations. I appreciate that directness as it makes it easy for folks to know right away if Findhelp is a good fit for their career.
Kontras
This is a company pushing to achieve profitability while scaling - there are tradeoffs that come with that, but there are also rewards if we get there. In keeping the team size reasonable, it's even more important that everyone plays their part. I don't see it as a con, but because of that, there's a high accountability & performance culture here. If you're interested in a slower-paced role or one where you might be able to 'skate by,' this probably isn't the place for you. There's also no playbook for what we're doing. If you're used to following a script or struggle when things are grey while we figure them out, again, may not be the right fit.
