What used to be a fun and inviting place to work has been on the decline. It is more evident that management undervalues engineers and treats them poorly - non-tech staff are treated even worse. Often no real support for new grads or juniors to learn "proper" design habits. Management busy playing at being important (and managing one another) instead of working to ensure the success of the company and its people. They under-compensate people and and offer very small yearly increases/bonuses/etc
