Until 2020 you were assured a job if you performed your job well, even if your ranking did not reflect your performance. The benefits are great. Good pension.

The controllers and tax organizations provide services to the operational groups, yet serving those groups well does not help you during the ranking process. The rotation of managers can add benefit, but some departments have supervisors, managers and Division managers with little knowledge of the work being done in their organization. To succeed you must Focus is on pleasing your boss, and moving to the next assignment- not providing great service. Don’t be surprised to hear “that’s how we have always done it”
