Pros
Mangement is pretty flat and responds to input. There is plenty of time to read about machine learning supporting the programs. The technical staff is very capable and always willing to help. The overall work environment is pretty laid back and low pressure.
Kontras
The focus it to apply deep learning at all costs to novel use cases, and therefore the work ends up being mostly theoretical with no real mission to stimulate intrinsic motivation. They also make you sign a non-compete agreement claiming that they made a big investment in your technical abilities; however, all growth I have received has been while charging a contract or on my own time at lunch. It's also kind of weird to supposedly be a 'best place to work' yet require a non-compete for retainment.
