Pros
- Store management is great at my location. Can't say the same for some others. - The hourly is pretty good. - The work is fairly easy... as long as you can understand it. - The hours aren't terrible.
Kontras
- Store management is forced to train with often deceptive practices (like not itemizing quotes, straight up lying to customers about promotions, etc.). - Commission is great until a portion of it is charge backed and there's not really a way to check what you were chargebacked for (at least, that me and my manager can find). - Customers can struggle to understand things about the service- which is fine- until they get mad at YOU because they don't get it. - The sales goals are AWFUL and they only increase over time. Corporate always pesters your store, especially your manager, to reach these goals- even on days where it's dead. - T-Mobile is pushing sales through the app for almost all card payments, which customers and us employees both despise. - Even if your store is understaffed, it's likely they won't provide much help in that regard. Maybe sending one person, and maybe reducing store hours by one.
