Pros

I have been working as a Technical Manager for about 1 year. I joined Exceptioniare 2.5 years back & now a 5+ years experienced manager. NASSCOM's indicates an average company shutdown ratio is around 90% in first 5 years. Only 10% survive. Exceptionaire has been around for about 7 years now which speaks quite a lot about how this company has grown having seen ups & downs. It is definitely here for the long haul. They have created job opportunities with almost 100% international business, bringing in some awesome projects. Also diversified into many new technologies. With exciting new projects the company has also been hiring good industry talent to add to their pool. There is a great amount of freedom in the company that helps people focus on work rather than unnecessary gossip or internal politics. Unfortunately for me I have to shift to my hometown in nagar due to family business but would have liked to continue for atleast 1-2 years more. The opportunities that Exceptionaire is bringing are huge, especially now & I would strongly recommend the company.

The company needs to have an office in the US & Europe where most of their business comes from. I know this review is going to attract some attention but you need to invest more in training people technically & for soft skills as well. HR process needs to be more streamlined & bring more approachability for employees.

Lots of Projects and good higher technical team.

Salary is delayed by 2-3 months, and this has been happening since 2015. Now the situation is even worse. I'll try to cover all the departments: 1. HR ñ They will force you to work on Saturdays and will never pay for extra days worked, and will fire you whenever they want. 2. Development ñ Projects are delayed because developers are forced to work on excel sheets rather than their technology, you'll have to create stupid sheets which are of no use ultimately. They will switch your projects whenever they want and would force you to work on imaginary deadlines given by the CEO. And if you are not able to meet the deadline, get ready to work on Public Holidays and weekends without comp off. Thanks to Technical Managers and CTOs, you can learn a lot from them. Another one was former Delivery Manager who was amazing in her work. 3. Sales: It's where they are good at, let me rewrite they aware good at until the CEO jumped in development as Delivery Head. Yes, you heard me right, A CEO from Sales background is doing delivery of technically complex projects who knows nothing about technology, coding, testing. 4. Design: Overburdened 5. Management ñ This is the worst, One person's ego will cause or is causing the downfall. CEO thinks he is right all the time, He will show off his 6 years of experience of false-fully running a company. He will blackmail you to do work or he will not give you release after you resign. He blackmails all the time, if you don't believe me ask any past employee on Linkedin. 6. Marketing ñ Their only job is to write fake reviews on Glassdoor and Google. 7. Finance ñ Company is in debt, they have not paid their rent since April, and who knows when they are out of the working space. Salaries are delayed, they cannot purchase tools, hardware and computer systems. Once you resign then forget about the Salary of your notice period because its never released, and if you'll ask for your money they will blackmail you to work.
