Pros

They have very good benefits

Kontras

Not all departments are the same. Lied about flexibility to work from home. The team has high turnover but nothing is done about it

Pros

Management provides guidance and expectations without micromanaging the details. They hire you to do a job and trust that you will get it done. Taking PTO is easy. Benefit offerings are good. Not super awesome but pretty decent for private sector work. Opportunity for advancement if you pursue it.

Kontras

Parent company forces odd policies like using G Suite instead of Office 365, even though both are currently available for us to use. No formal training for new hires. You will need to be proactive and seek out what you need to learn.

Pros

The CT office runs their IT projects very well and the management is good, especially on the client services and customer support side. They still take pride in keeping the customers satisfied so their software quality has remained a priority even after the merger. The employees were treated well and I believe still are. I cannot speak of the other offices in other states, they all run with different management styles. The latest company WEX that purchased EV1 recently hasn't had any negative impact that I've heard of. Overall the CT office is a nice place to work. The managers are easy to work with and very knowledgeable.

Kontras

The company used to be a happier place a few years ago when it was smaller (before merger with LIghthouse 1). It was called a merger but LH1 really took over so the CT office has changed by LH1 influences. The offices outside of CT try to push as many software updates as possible into a release leaving employees scrambling to fix after it goes live which tends to be very stressful at times. The other offices outside of CT don't seem to be as client or quality focused which seems to result in dissatisfied customers and stress on the employees after software releases. I would worry the CT office will decline if more employees and managers leave. It is sad, it used to be an excellent company to work for, now it is just okay.
