Pros

Evermark sounds amazing and the reviews on Glassdoor look amazing, however, it's too good to be true. At the time I am writing this review there are 18 previous reviews listed- 16 of those reviews were solicited by the Evermark leadership team in Mar/Apr to improve the overall rating of Evermark on Glassdoor. It is my experience that amazing companies don't have to solicit positive feedback from a select group of employees. I have learned through my time here, that companies lacking professional integrity and strong leadership - do.

Evermark sounded like the complete package. Great people (there are some wonderful people here), great core values, and they are trying hard to create a company culture that anyone would thrive in. The reality is, the negative subculture that exists and is perpetuated by members of management and leadership will never allow the core values to fully be realized thus tainting any semblance of an enjoyable experience and/or professional working environment. Evermark is lacking the adequate tools to appropriately train, measure, promote individual employee success. There is no trust to allow autonomy which is only amplified by the lack of training and mentorship at all levels. This is my first experience where not all managers know how to do the job assignments of the positions they are managing. It is counterintuitive and ineffective to have a management structure in place with zero know-how.

We appreciate your honest feedback and it is unfortunate you had such a bad experience during your time with us. Evermark strives everyday to be a better company and can only do so by receiving honest feedback from current and former employees. This includes the feedback we asked for at the beginning when we were launching our site as instructed by Glassdoor. Evermark believes in an open door policy and is always looking for ideas from those on the front line. These ideas sometimes do not fit our current priorities although they may be wonderful suggestions. We wish you the best in your future endeavors and do appreciate the experience and insight you brought to us during your time here.
