The culture is kill or be killed. Recruiters will go after your clients, even if you have done 20+ placements with that client. You have recruiters calling and emailing your active clients and former placements being poached from your clients. It's like a complete free-for-all and there are no repercussions or recourse. It forces the recruiters who have morals and values to constantly have to be on the defensive.
