Eventbrite is led by morons with no ability to define strategy or execute on it. They're currently trying to move as many roles as possible to cheaper labor markets. That "8% layoff" headline was actually 38%, they just hid the remainder as "relocation". Julia Hartz herself is no more than a VC grifter. The only people these ghouls care about are their investors and shareholders. Middle management is barely better and will leave you on your own for career growth. Raises, promotions, and clear direction on how to get them are all nonexistent. The goal posts will move faster than you can reach them. Also, the compensation sucks.
