Pros

ESS cares about their employees. They are honest and stand by their clients. ESS does the right thing when it comes to business decisions. They also love to give back to the community through donations, such as food and toy drives. They value the opinion of the Management, as well as employees. They continue to grow with the Point of Sale industry as technology changes. The owner's respond to the needs of the employees in a timely manner and understand the importance of a work/life balance. It's difficult to find a decent company to work for in today's world and Essential Systems Solutions is definitely is a 5-star company to work for!!

The sales cycle can be frustrating at times when you are new to the industry, but if you hang in there it can be very rewarding!

Relaxed job. Engaging work. Small company.

-Management is a good ol’ boys club. -Employees have virtually no opportunity for growth. -Pay is horrible and almost non-negotiable. -Anti-telework culture. -Micromanagement. -Lapses in communication between all levels of management. -Expected to work overtime. The repair center is a revolving door of unskilled workers. Management would rather underpay a lot of people to do a horrible job, rather than properly paying a smaller group of high skilled personnel. This company does not provide raises to account for inflation.
