Pros
They hire people right out of college with no healthcare experience and provide reasonably good initial training and certifications, which are impossible to obtain unless you work for one of their clients. They provide a good benefits package and a fairly high salary for recent college graduates. There are a lot of opportunities to get involved in interesting projects around the company. After working on several implementations, you get a pretty good idea about how the industry works in general, which comes in useful if you continue a career in healthcare. Talented and hard-working co-workers
Kontras
Very poor work/life balance. Expect to work at least 55 hours a week regularly and up to 80 during heavy workloads (which happens every couple of months). Middle management is very hit or miss because they are promoted on the number of hours they logged rather than quality of work or actual management skills. Customers' needs are always valued over employees, which leads to employees being treated as expendable resources.
