Upper management is completely out of touch with reality, unreasonable, and inflexible, time off policies are subpar for the industry, work-life balance is horrible, and employees are treated as expendable resources rather than people with lives. These things have always been true, but recent responses to COVID-19 and BLM have accentuated these flaws to a breaking point and it's become crystal clear that Epic is fully aware of what they're doing and they don't care at all.
