Kontras
The facilities are in dire need of updates. Production equipment is in a continual state of disrepair. Warehouse organization is a nightmare. The company is continually mired in backorders. Employees are expected to perform the work of at least 2 people for the compensation of an entry-level Target employee. Upper management goes on vacation when they have important decisions to make, then wants to talk about "professionalism." Obvious favoritism leading to severe feelings of disenfranchisement among the floor team. No paid sick days. The CEO seems to operate under the assumption that every employee exists purely to fill his needs, and his answer to an employee in a state of emotional or health crisis is "Just work twice as hard so you don't have to think about it." The CEO approaches employees with a friendly demeanor and seems to show genuine concern for their wellbeing, but never makes good on promises to improve working conditions. The CEO will demand that assemblers arrive to work on time even in dangerous weather conditions, via email, on days when he himself will not leave the safety of his own home. The CEO becomes upset when employees prioritize their own wellbeing over the profitability of a failing company.
