Pros
There is always something to do, and you’re never confined to one role. I've done everything from content marketing, multimedia, recon reporting, research, analysis, heading software training programs, and implementing my own solutions to improve some areas in operations. Stephen knows how to put people’s talents to good use, and he’s gives you an opportunity to develop skills or realize skills you didn’t know you had. The other nice part is you can see the results of your work and how what you do has a positive effect on the team and clients.
Stephen has done a great job setting the tone from the top down. He's created a culture that values teamwork, selflessness, your personal best effort, and the results. Between him and Doug, they’re good at putting together a team who best embody these values, which explains why you don't see "drama” at Empaxis. There are about 40-50 people in the company, and I enjoy working with every single one of them.
Kontras
Requires flexibility with time, though it actually works in your favor in most cases. Sometimes the work requires your early mornings or late nights for meetings or deadlines, but that’s inherent in the job because of the international nature of the work. Normally you'll have your regular working hours during the day, but you just have to be ready for the occasional early morning or late night, which is true at most jobs anyway. All I know is that when you put in the extra time or go that extra mile at Empaxis, Stephen notices it. Your hard work is always recognized.
