Pros
Benefits are decent and pay is higher than most for the assembly position
Kontras
What the company calls "Growing Pains" is much more akin to cancer. I stayed with them for a year, and in that time what was once a really easy job, became harder and harder. Managers took away tools we need to complete the task because one person made a mistake with them. supplies and accessories were moved to the other side of the warehouse increasing employee walking time. required daily piece counts were raised. some fixtures could take 5 minutes to build and others could take a few hours. you still need to get 50+ pieces out, or you receive a written warning. Collaboration, being part of their core values, is frowned upon, as management sees talking as wasted time, assembly benches are set up to minimize coworker interactions. Assembly technician 2 is a title used to placate those looking to grow with the company and you will most likely receive the title within your first year, if you give it your all. Assembly Technician 3 is an unachievable goal, as you are required to know every process and machine in the factory and be able to train anyone on them, a responsibility greater than what is required of the engineers.
