No engineering culture, or work organisation. No methodologies as Scrum. Work is done constantly in an emergency way, no clear direction, constant fire fighting. No CTO or dev managers, just manager with a military background with poor understanding on how to run engineering teams. Workload goes from nothing for weeks to everything in a short time. Average meeting rate 50/60% of your weekly time. No induction or training, learn on the go, with a lot of pressure. Work equipment and tools are not there yet, software development is purely based on integrations, therefore forget to learn something. No career progression, no evaluation matrix.No much coding.
