Pros
(I apologize if this is a repeat post; my first review does not appear to have submitted correctly. If this is a repeat, then may I request that this version be submitted, because I have made my thoughts a little more concise, here.) As my work began to attract repeat clients and make existing ones very happy, the management hinted that I was an asset despite my being relatively new. I greatly appreciated the compliments. They continued to encourage me as my work continued to satisfy clients. In addition, my fellow associate editors exhibited a lot of empathy and camaraderie, for which I am deeply grateful.
Kontras
As some of the other glassdoor commenters might have already indicated, the management's expectations were difficult to gauge at times. I personally viewed it in a positive light, because I personally saw the inconsistency and aggression as an ambitious desire to adhere to the admirable philosophy of "The Customer is Always Right" while being in the awkward position of being a relatively small company. I, too, enjoy going above and beyond customers' expectations. Unfortunately, the management terminated my contract over a false accusation. I understand from whence the accusation came, but even when the management did establish in writing that their accusation was inaccurate, they remained with their decision without providing me any explanation. There is no problem with their decision to do so in and of itself, because, as the contracting party, they have every right to move contractors as they see fit. What confuses me about their decision to terminate me is that it appears to have been a mutual loss, and it might have conflicted with their "Customer is Always Right" philosophy, because it was possible that terminating me upset at least two dozen clients.
